William "Bill" Francis Keller

Of Jackson, MI passed away on October 19, 2022, at the age of 71. Bill was born in Jackson on July 20, 1951, to parents Virgil and Stella Keller. Bill was a graduate of East Jackson schools. He was drafted into the Army on May 21, 1971, and served until May 14, 1973, after which he continued serving with the National Guard. He worked for over 30 years in various manufacturing roles. He spent many years hunting and fishing, and in his later years, became an avid golfer. Bill is survived by his wife of 48 years Devra Keller; children Jaime (Brandon) Foster and Bill Keller; grandchildren Alanah, Morgan, Hayley, and Nolan Foster and Mikayla Keller; great grandchildren Bentley and Lincoln Waters; sister Diane (Barry) Meyer; sister-in-law Glenda (Tom) Broyles; mother-in-law Susan Wilson; niece Corina (Kevin) Seymour; nephews Ron (Mary) Broyles and Barry (Jamie) Meyer; and very dear, life-long friends John and Rita Duncan. He is preceded in death by his parents Virgil and Stella Keller. A celebration of Bill’s life will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at 1:00 PM at the American Legion – Post 29, 3200 Lansing Ave., Jackson. Military honors will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
