Wardell S. Pryor

Of Jackson, passed away on August 22, 2011. Wardell was born August 27, 1934 in Villa Ridge, Illinois to parents Floyd and Annie Pryor. He married Arine Woolfolk. They were married for 56 years. He worked for Goodyear Tire for more than 30 years. He is survived by his children, Irene (Daniel) Ragland, Ronnell (Shirley) Pryor, Gloria Robinson, Sylina Pryor; seven grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren and is also survived by three sisters. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Arine and his daughter Francis Pryor. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, August 26, 2011 from 12:00 noon to 8:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Second Missionary Baptist Church, 304 East Prospect Street, Jackson at 11:00 A.M. with visitation from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the church. He will be laid to rest next to his wife at Roseland Memorial Gardens.
