Wanda Cordelia Rogers born May 18,1935, peacefully transitioned on January 6, 2024 at the age of 88 leaving a legacy of love and laughter. Wanda was preceded in death by her beloved parents Harvey Joseph Pearl and Effie Sisson Pearl and her siblings, Lawrence Felix, Gertrude, Joseph Pearl Thompson, Sylvester (Gene) Pearl, Charles Pearl, Jacqueline Pearl-Hoxie, Elvis Anderson, she is also reunited in eternity with her husband William Rogers, son Theodore (Teddy) Rogers and Grandson Jovan Howard. Wanda is survived by her siblings Roger Pearl, Christine Anderson, Pamela Gant, Evers (Tina) Anderson, Dennis (Vernice) Anderson, Deborah (Quincy) Norwood, Wanda is also survived by 2 adoring children Susan (KT) Lee Jr and Ronald Rogers, 7 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild, and Lynnette who she called Granddaughter. Wanda was not only an avid bowler, she found solace in knitting and baking, she also was the first African American women Cub Scout leader/Den Mother #409 and active PTA member at Lincoln Elementary School in Jackson, MI. She was devoted to her family and her legacy shined through her vibrant spirit and commitment to others. May she rest in eternal peace.
