Of Jackson, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2016 at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Walter J. Irwin; her daughter, Shirley A. Mills; her parents and other siblings. She will be remembered by her grandchildren, Dean Suiter and Melissa (Brian) Martin; nine great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren; brothers, Glenn Withrow and Carl (Jack) Withrow; sister, Charlotte Johnson; as well as several nieces, nephews, loving family members, and friends. Thelma was born to Elijah and Maude Withrow in Gatewood, West Virginia on September 6, 1924. She served her family, friends, and church all the days of her life. A celebration of her life will be held at Chas. J. Burden & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, October 24, 2016 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park
