Of Parma, died at her home in the arms of her loving husband, on Sunday, February 20, 2011 after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Steven of 37 years, who has been by her side since they were married on September 15, 1973; her son, Aaron (Casey) of Jackson; grandchildren, Blake and Wendy of Indiana, Gabriele of Ohio and Adelia of Jackson; her parents, Dennis and Patricia Rowlison; sisters, Michele Hills of Parma, Andrea Rowlison of Orlando, FL.; brother, Wayne Rowlison of St. Augustine, FL.; grandmother, Ruth Rowlison of Concord; special friend, J.B. of Orlando, FL. as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of close friends, also Michelle’s Gang. The family would like to extend a special thank you to cousin, Denise and her special friends April, Stephanie, Mary and Kathy who were dedicated to helping and supporting her and her family, as well as Great Lakes Hospice staff; Jessica the nurse and Jo. She will be mostly missed by her best friend Gabby who walked with her whenever she could. Teresa was born in Jackson; graduated from Jackson High in 1973. She graduated from Jackson Community College in 1986 and was an X-ray technician for 25 years in Jackson and Lansing. She loved the wilderness, camping, walking on the beach of Lake Michigan as well as a good Rock concert. Cremation has been chosen and a service honoring her life is scheduled at the First United Methodist Church, 275 W. Michigan Ave. Jackson, MI. 49201, on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. the family will receive friends from 9:00a.m., until the time of service. In lieu of flowers contributions in her honor may be given to Ovarian Cancer Research, 14 Pennsylvania Plaza, Suite 1400, New York, NY 10122.
