Sharon Kay Ostrander

Of Jackson, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her children, Denise Walling, Todd (Michelle) Ostrander, Lee (Cindy) Ostrander and Eric Ostrander; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two nieces; loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Garold and Jennie (Wilson) Gier as well as her sister, Karen. Sharon graduated from Jackson High. She was a strong, hardworking homemaker. She retired from Michigan Seat after 32 years of service. She touched the hearts and lives of many and will be greatly missed. A service honoring her life will be held at Chas. J. Burden & Son funeral home on Monday, November 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest at Roseland Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Jackson, American Cancer Society or Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice.
