Of Brooklyn, passed away at her home on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at the age of 56. She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Decker. She will be forever missed by her three children, Rose Mary Decker (Brian Pawlicki), Tina Decker and her baby boy, John Decker along with her five beautiful granddaughters; brothers, Ric Carroll and Gary Carroll; sisters, Kathy Sharp and Tereasa Dezomite as well as many loving family members and friends. Rita was born in Dearborn, Michigan on April 16, 1959 to Sterling and Margaret (Hartman) Carroll. Rita loved spending time with her granddaughters, family and friends. Rita worked at Brooklyn Living Center and Columbia School District where she made many friends over the years. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at Brooklyn Living Center (151 Constitution Ave. Brooklyn, MI 49230) on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 4:00 p.m.
