Ralph Arnold Lowe

Age 90, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family, on February 19, 2023. Ralph was born on September 5, 1932, in Jackson, MI to Barney and Josephine (Burdick) Lowe.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 10 siblings, and his wife Patricia (Sala) of over 50 years of marriage.

Ralph is survived by his wife of 12 years DeAnna, daughters Debra Manthei of Alma, Karen (Mike) Brooks of West Olive, and son David (Sheri) Lowe of Pearland, TX; grandchildren Dia (Brandon) Davis, Maranda (Colt) Shimunek, Trevor Lowe, Kendall Lowe, Erica Campbell, and Ian (Heidi) Manthei, and great grandchildren Alivia, Lily, Lyla, Evelyn, Audrey, Jonny, Bill and Kain. Stepdaughters Melanie (Russ) Rogers and Dana (Dave) Krueger, and step grandchildren, Kyle, Kayleigh, Mike, and Steve. He is also survived many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Ralph retired from Kelsey Hayes after 30 years. He enjoyed yardwork, gardening, riding bicycles and dancing. Ralph was an avid walker at Jackson Crossing where he loved socializing with his friends and having coffee. Ralphie and DeAnna had many adventures during their marriage. They enjoyed many adventures of their numerous vacations through Jackson Trippers. Ralphie loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. On his recent 90th birthday he danced with his grand girls at One Jackson Square. Anywhere Ralphie went was a good time, which included much horseplay, shenanigans, and laughter. His love, kindness and presence will be missed by the many lives he touched.

Ralph had many fond memories of eating cookies, drinking coffee, sharing memories, and laughing together with his siblings. The family invites you to share memories of Ralph over cookies and coffee on Sunday, February 26, from 2-4 pm at Steve’s Ranch Family Restaurant , 311 Louis Glick Hwy, Jackson MI, 49201. In lieu of flowers, please consider planting a tree in Ralph’s honor.
