Paul passed away peacefully at home on August 7, 2015 with his family at his bedside. He was born on February 9, 1939 to Wesley and Eunice Kinch. Paul was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His smiling face and warm hugs will be missed by his wife, Nancy, his children Julie (John) Adair, Ron (Terri) Kinch, Michelle (Stephen) Hirsch, Kim Williams, Rick (Lori) France, David (Cindy Lord) France, 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He is survived by one brother Robert (Kathy) Kinch as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers Richard and Billy Kinch, and a sister Lodema Snell. Paul was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Jackson where he sang in the choir for many years and had served as deacon and youth leader. He retired from the United States Postal Service with 35 years of service as a letter carrier. He loved music, travel, books, his favorite sports teams and spending time at the family cottage. A celebration of Paul’s life will be held on September 19, 2015 at 11:00AM, First Presbyterian Church, 743 W. Michigan, Jackson. Visitation is at 10:00AM at the church. Contributions in Paul’s honor may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Jackson, the American Cancer Society or Great Lakes Caring Hospice of Jackson.
