Mary Ann Nichols

Mary Ann Nichols was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and Friend. Mary was born on October 11, 1943 and peacefully left this world on July 8, 2024 after a long battle with Lung Cancer, while at home with family at the age of 80. Mary pursued her further education in Health Care and spent her entire career caring for many patients with much of the same ailments that ultimately claimed her own life. When not caring for her patients, Mary loved spending time with her family. Mary was very proud of her older brother Tom and often told stories of his time in the U.S. Navy. Mary was preceded in death by her father, (Hugh L. Pierce) her mother, (Winona R. Pierce) and her brother, (Thomas Pierce). Mary is survived by her children Kimberly A. Shell, Elizabeth R. Pearse, Annette L. Hayes, Jamie M. Fairbotham, her brother Roger Pierce, her grandchildren Christopher Shell, Eric Pearse, Raymond Shell, Julie Thompson, Haley Nichols, Brianna Lickfelt, Makayla Fairbotham, Robbie Fairbotham and her great-grandchildren Ryley Pearse, Kylynn Pearse, Joyce Thompson, William Thompson, Jordyn Ripley, Emily Lickfelt, Carlie Thompson, and Benjamin Thompson.
