Of Jackson, passed away at her home under the care of her family on Monday, December 11, 2023 at the age of 81. She will be remembered by her children, Robert Dotson, Cynthia ( Timothy) O'Dell and Paula Allen; five grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; five siblings, Elton Swaenepoel, Rosemary Edington, Patricia Riddle, Leo (Jane) Swaenepoel and Dale (Robyn) Swaenepoel; sister-in-law, Shari Swaenepoel; k-9 companions, Harley and Mickey, as well as nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends; special neighbors, Greg and Jennifer Lent and Katelyn Kirkpatrick. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Robert and Albert Swaenepoel; brothers-in-law, Robert Edington and Randal Riddle; sister-in-law Deborah Swaenepoel and the father of her children, Paul Dudley Dotson. Martha graduated from East Jackson High School and retired from Vista Grande Villa after 35 years of service. She loved animals, outdoor activities, crocheting, working in her rock garden, puzzles, and cooking for family and friends. She touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed.
