Maria Guillermina Gallegos Frausto

Of Jackson, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023 at the age of 78 surrounded by her family. She will be remembered by her husband of 43 years, Sixto Frausto; son, David Nall; daughter, Maria (Chester) Cunningham of Leslie, MI; four grandchildren, Audrey Munro, Allison Frausto, John Nall and Landyn Cunningham; sisters, Enriqueta Strickler, Maria-Eugenia (John) Bergey, Gloria Fairley of Norman, OK; brothers, John, Carlos, Alfonso (Paula), Ignacio Jimenez and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Raul Jimenez and two sons, John Nall and Abel Frausto.

Maria was born to Marcelino and Alejandrina Jimenez on September 10, 1945 in Monterrey, Mexico. She graduated from Jackson High School in 1965, then married and raised a family. She enjoyed crocheting, spending time with her grandchildren and dancing the night away during family gatherings. Maria worked many years at Meijer ending her career at Foote Hospital. She was always a joy to be around and accepted every new face she was introduced to as part of the family. She will be missed dearly by all. We would like to thank the staff at Henry Ford Jackson for the love and care they showed throughout the year, especially in the last days.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life along with her brother, John Horacio Jimenez, will be held Sunday March 24, 2024 at Fraternal Order of Eagles (301 Detroit St. Jackson, MI 49201) from 10-4 pm. Donations will be graciously accepted by the family at the memorial service.
