Margaret Susan S. McCoy

Of Jackson MI passed away peacefully on August 13, 2017 at the age of 95 with family by her side. Margaret was born on June 19, 1922 in Jackson, MI to Charles and Bertha Hobbins. She married Lee T. McCoy on January 21, 1949 in Angola Indiana. She was an avid bowler, runner, loved playing cards and was a fan of Jeopardy, her favorite show. She and Lee loved to travel after their retirement, also a member of Pathways community Church for many years. . Margaret is survived by her son, Lee (Pat) McCoy of New York, grandchildren, Colleen (Bill) McCoy-Hooker, Sean McCoy, Erin Patrick (Erica) McCoy, Kerry (Shannon) McCoy, twelve great grandchildren, one great- great grandchild, special nieces, Nancy O`Neill of California and Faye Easton of Jackson MI, special friends, Winnie Ward, and Evelyn Bromley. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lee, brothers, Charles Eugene Hobbins and William Hobbins, sisters, Josephine Karpinski, Gail Reed, and twin sister, Marjorie Sherwood. A celebration of Margaret’s life will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 12:00pm with visitation from 11:00am until time of service.
