Lucy M. Nemetz

Of Jackson, went to be with the Lord at the age of 103, on Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 2022. The family would like to thank the staff at the Victorian Villa Nursing Home for their kind and compassionate care. In addition to her parents, Lucy was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 50 years, Wesley George Nemetz; son, Gary Nemetz and daughter, Pat Sabin. She is survived by her children, Joan (Harvey) Kohn, Judy (Reynolds) Grant, Janet Adams and Brenda (Dan) Bliss as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. Lucy was born on January 13, 1919 to Oscar and Olive (Graham) Reynolds in Middleton, Michigan. After their marriage, "George" and Lucy eventually migrated to Jackson where they raised their family. She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She enjoyed her doll collection, sewing and crafts. She liked to use her creativity. Lucy had a strong Faith in the Lord and attended Jackson Baptist Church. She touched the hearts of many and will be greatly missed. A Funeral Service will be held at Burden & Patience-Montgomery (1806 E. Michigan Ave. Jackson, 49202) on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 12:00 P.M. with Pastor Larry Saunders officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Lucy will be laid to rest beside her husband at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
