Linda Marie Vance

Of Jackson, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at the age of 66. She is survived by her two daughters, Laura Salley-Morton and Tammy (Robert) Havens; eight grandsons; mother, Genevieve Cavins; three brothers; four sisters as well as many loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Cavins; daughter, Charlene Cavins-Morton and one brother. After Linda graduated from Jackson High she received an associated degree from Jackson Community College as a Medical Assistant and retired from Allegiance Health. She was a hard working woman and loving mother. Linda started a local M.S. Society, she touched the lives of many and will be missed. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. the family will receive friends at Chas. J. Burden & Son Funeral Home for a memorial visitation on Tuesday evening from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., followed by a Rosary Service. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family to assist with final expenses.
