Linda Diane Gonzales

Of Jackson, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at the age of 76. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her soulmate and husband of 50 years, Marcelino Gonzales and brother, Eugene Sackrider. She will be remembered by her two children, Sherri (Rodney) Price and Marcelino (Ginger) Gonzales III; seven grandchildren, Trent, Sydney, Tade, Marcelino IV, Elaina, Claude and Clara; two great grandchildren, Mira and Amaya; sister, Sharon Jackson; sister-in-law, Sue Sackrider as well as nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. Linda was born October 7, 1947 to Fred and Esther Sackrider. After graduating from Western High School she married and started a family. She retired as a administrative assistant for the Michigan Department of Corrections after many years of service. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She liked to be outdoors in her garden or riding the motorcycle and going to Sturgis annually. Linda was a member of the Parma/Springport O.E.S. (Order of the Eastern Star). Funeral Services will be held at Burden & Patience-Montgomery on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 12:00 noon with Father Timothy MacDonald officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
