Kevin James Coffman

Kevin James Coffman of Jackson, MI passed away on Sunday April 28, 2024 in the comfort of his home after a short battle with cancer. His family was by his side. He was 72 years old. He was a beloved husband, brother, father, and grandfather. Kevin James Coffman was born on July 8, 1951, in Jackson, MI. Preceded in death by His parents, Benny and Frances Coffman. He is survived by 5 siblings, Carol (Tom) Sambaer, Kelly (Chris) Smith, Theresa Robe, Kirstie (Charles) Badzik and Patrick (Karen) Coffman. Kevin is also survived by his wife of 10 years, Amy, his sons, Conor Coffman, Kevin (Sara) Coffman and his grandchildren, Sawyer and Dawsyn. If you met Kevin, he would tell you he was a jack of all trades but a master of none. He loved sports, he loved being outside and being around his family and friends. He loved coaching and teaching. He was always doing that with his sons, whether it was on the golf course, on a baseball field, or with life advice. In recent years, he found that being a Grandpa was one of the best things that ever happened to him. He adored his granddaughters, Dawsyn and Sawyer, and he took great joy in being around them and watching them grow. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place but no formal funeral services or visitation are scheduled. A Celebration of Kevin’s life will be shared at 1:00pm on Sunday May 19, 2024 at 732 Elmwood St, Jackson, MI.
