Kenneth W. Powers

Of Jackson, passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at the age of 60. He is survived by his three children: Kenneth R. Powers, Julie (Eric) Spytma, and Janel (Jacob) Dean; as well as his siblings: Dave, Michalene, Kathy, Ginny, Terri, John, and Marie. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Barb Powers. He was born in Detroit and graduated from Algonac High School. He was a young entrepreneur and was motivated by many ideas. He eventually owned and operated Power’s Insurance Agency Plus in Jackson. He was an avid Lumen Christi Football fan. He loved his children and had many friends. He touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed. The Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Rita Catholic Church (10516 Hayes Road, Clarklake 49234) on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Tom Helfrich officiating.
