John Hubert Myers

Of Jackson, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 – at 92 years young! He was preceded in death by his loving wife Cay-Dee; his parents Hubert and Sophie Myers, three sisters, Phyllis Ball, Doris Bohl and Lois Myers; two sisters-in-law, Colleen Cyrocki and Carol Alger. John was a life-long resident of Jackson, Michigan, He worked for Consumers Energy for 38 years before taking early retirement which afforded him the time to enjoy traveling to his kid’s and eventually grandkid’s sporting and other events. In his later years he enjoyed sitting outside in his driveway doing crosswords, sudoku and “keeping an eye on the neighborhood”. John is survived by his three daughters, Teri-Sue (Elwyn) Steele , Molly (Trevor) Rutan and Emy-Jo (Jeff) Heethuis; grandchildren, Cayci (Fadi) Mustafa , Justyn Steele, Ayron Rutan, Ayden Rutan, Jarrod Heethuis and Catelyn Heethuis, great-grandchildren, Zane, Zara and Zada Mustafa; Special niece, Peggy Bohl, along with two sisters-in-law, and many other nieces and nephews. On top of being a devoted husband and provider for his family, John was the best father anyone could have! Thank you, Dad for allowing us to return the support and care these last few years that you gave to us when we came into this world, while you exited it. Per his wishes there will be no service at this time.
