Of Jackson, MI went to be with the lord and his lovely wife of 73 years Emma on Thursday, October 13, 2022 Jesse is survived by his sons, Billy C (Sally) of Clarklake, MI, Danny G (Sue) of Covington, IN, Jess L (Lisa) of Ceresco, MI and daughter Tammy L (David) Shaughnessy of Jackson, MI; grandchildren, Billy Kingston, Cary Kingston, Jamie Kingston, Brian Kingston, Adam Kingston, Lindsey Kingston, Aaron Shaughnessy and Angela Shaughnessy; great-grandchildren, Lillith Kingston, Noah Kingston, Clayton James Kingston, Madeline Kingston, Eli Petsel, Knox Petsel, Jacob Kingston, Brycen Kingston, Sean Kingston, Emma Mae Shaughnessy, Adalynn Shaughnessy and Olivia Shaughnessy sisters Mildred Grey, Lucy Storms and Mable (Tom) Wheatley. Preceded in death by his wife Emma, grandson Danny G. Kingston, Jr., three sisters and two brothers and parents. Jesse was strong in his faith and was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church where he attended. He also was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Council 8858 member and a secretary of the Council until his health declined. He will be missed by all who knew him. The family will receive family and friends for visitation on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Burden & Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home (1806 E. Michigan Ave., Jackson, MI 49202) from 4PM-8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (711 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Jackson, MI 49201) on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 12:00 PM with visitation starting at 11:00 AM until service. Jesse will be laid to eternal rest at Roseland Memorial Gardens. The Kingston family would like to thank Thome Pace Legacy Assisted Living and Henry Ford Hospice Home for all their wonderful care. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made in Jesse’s name to Thome Pace or Henry Ford Hospice Home.
