Jerry Lee Coburn

Of Jackson, MI passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at the age of 72. Jerry was born August 23, 1950 in Jackson, MI to parents, Charles W. and Eleanor (Click) Coburn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Theresa Coburn. Jerry was a jet engine mechanic in the United States Air Force. He worked at Diecast Corp. for 33 years and finished his career at IST after ten years. In his spare time, Jerry enjoyed working in the yard, bowling, bike riding and traveling. He also was a true “car guy” in every sense of the word. Jerry was happiest when spending time with family and friends. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 30 years, Jo Ann (Ross); son, Brian (Denise) Ross; grandsons, Timothy (Erin) Ross, Brian Ross Jr. and Colter Ross; siblings, Linda (Wayne) Mollitor, Charles Coburn Jr., James Ross, Judy (Kevin) Carpenter, Gail (Jack) DeVolder and Gloria (David) O’Connell; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to family, he is survived by his dear friends that were like family, Don (Jane) Marlett, Dick (Cathy) Mitchell, Shirley (Ron) Gray, Josh (Kristin) Renfer and sons, Jackie Watson and so very many more special and endearing friends. He will be missed by all who knew him. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jerry’s memory can be made to the Cascades Humane Society or St. Jude Hospital.
