Passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at her home in Onondaga, MI. at the age of 91. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Leslie and two grandsons, Kent Leslie Jr. and Brandon Leslie. She is survived by her children, Kent (Martha) Leslie of Onondaga, Stephen W. Leslie of Tennessee, Nancy (Raymond) Haney of Tennessee; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Jennie was born to Rill and Florence Green in Jonesville, MI. She worked at a Machine Shop while her husband was overseas in the 10th Mountain Division in WWII. She volunteered at Foote Hospital and retired as a school bus driver for the Jackson School District. Services are scheduled at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Toby Teague officiating. Family will receive friends for visitation Monday evening from 4-7. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Tompkins Cemetery.
