Of Jackson, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at the age of 79. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Martha Minix; two children, Ted (Connie) Minix and Robin (Gary) Hodges; six grandchildren, Logan and Stryker Minix, Jason, Justin, Jenna, and Jacob (Sydney) Hense; brother, Charlie Minix as well as nieces, nephews loving family members and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Ann Brooks. Happy was born on November 3, 1935 to Branch and Phoebe (Salyer) Minix in Royalton, KY. He served in the United States Air Force and spent the majority of his employment with Clark Equipment and then was a self-employed home repair man. According to his wishes, cremation has been selected and a service honoring his life will be held at Chas. J. Burden & Son funeral home on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of services.
