Geraldine "Geri" Hamblin

Of Jackson, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2011 at the age of 79. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Hamblin Jr.; and sister, Paula. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Pam (Mike) Baginski, Patty (David) Bell, Carl Edward Hamblin, Carlene (David) Ghannam; grandchildren, David Bell II, Amy (T.J.) Boatright, Sean Bell, Diane Bell, Carl Benn and Paul Hamblin, Angela and Marissa Ghannam; great-grandchildren, Gavin, Aubree and Drew Bell, as well as Kaden and Kilah Boatright. Geri was a proud homemaker and loved her family. She was creative, talented and had a great sense of humor. In her earlier years she was a Sunday school teacher. She was involved with her children's lives and their activities. She had a strong faith in the Lord and will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank the staff at Faith Haven Care Centre for their kind and compassionate care during her challenge with Alzheimers. A service celebrating her life is scheduled at the funeral home on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with the Reverend Michael Mason officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Roseland Memorial Gardens.
