Gary Leonard Bailey Sr. age 82, of Jerome gained his angel wings and went home to be with the Lord and reunited with his son Butch on February 18, 2021. He and his wife just celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Valentines Day. He was preceded in death by his son Gary Bailey Jr. and his parents John and Grace Bailey. Gary is survived by his loving wife Betty of 65 years; daughters Nancy VanWoert and Cindy Keyes; brother Robert (Patricia) Bailey; four grandchildren Andrew Inman, Brandon (Nikki) Bailey, Nicole Bailey and Justin Bailey; seven great-grandchildren Alanna, Alexandria, Ethan, Ledger, Logan, Brayden and Madison; many nieces and nephews, and his wonderful neighbor JoAnn Colton. Gary bought a printing press and taught himself to be a printer in his parents basement as a teenager. He went on to be a partner at LaRue Printing, and for more than 45 years he owned and operated Creative Graphics and continued to work through his battle with cancer. He owned Midwest Sportsman for many years and was awarded the Commanders Certificate for his generous donations. He was a very kind and compassionate man in the community donating to Toys For Tots, Salvation Army, Cascades Humane Society and many other organizations. He was a former Marine and would do anything to help someone in need. He loved animals and took care of many feral cats for many years. Due to covid restrictions there will be no service at this time. In lieu of flowers if you would like to make a donation in his honor, contributions to Cascades Humane Society Feral Cat Program would be appreciated.
