Diana Lynn (Perry) Anderson

Of Jackson, Michigan passed away peacefully on Friday February 23, 2024 at the age of 74. She will be remembered by her children; Sean (Leah) Anderson, Nicole (Stacy) Sharp, Chris Anderson, grandchildren; Samantha Anderson and Ethan Anderson; brothers, Dan (Sloan) Perry and Doug Johnson; and sister, Deborah (Joey) Bridges. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Anderson; parents, Jordan and Jeannette; and brothers, Dennis Perry and David Johnson. Diana was born in Jackson, Michigan on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1950. She fell in love and married Robert Anderson on February 20, 1971. They raised a family and lived 45 years together until his passing in 2016. Diana occasionally attended Cascades Baptist Church and Ganson Street Baptist Church. She worked a few years outside of the home for the Jackson County Friend of the Court, but for the majority of her life she was blessed with the opportunity to stay at home with her children. Diana loved collecting dolls, antiques, and old postcards. She loved her family more than anything in the world and never missed a family function. She was known for always finding the right card to fit the appropriate occasion ranging from sympathy, graduation, birthday, and anniversaries. She touched the hearts and lives of many and will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church on May 4, 2024 at 1 PM. The family will receive visitors starting at 11 AM. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan on May 6, 2024 at 1 PM.
