Of Jackson, Michigan passed away unexpectedly at his home at the age of 64. He leaves to cherish his memory, two children, Stacey Patterson and Patrick Patterson; three grandchildren, Taylor Brooke, Madison and Olivia; great grandson, Mason; father, Pat Patterson; three brothers, Rodney (Pam), Mark (Tammy) and Doug; nieces and nephews, Michael (Katie), Justin, Tara (Gaige), Jason (Shauna) and Laci Jo (John), as well as many loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Clara Patterson and sister-in-law, Stephanie Patterson. Dennis was born in Jackson on January 10, 1959 and attended Jackson Public Schools. He spent his career as a talented residential painter. He liked to be outdoors, hunting, fishing, working in the garden and tinkering with his mopeds. Dennis especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren in Minnesota and visiting the Mall of America. He touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church ( 120 E. Wesley Street Jackson, 49201) on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 10:00 A.M.
