Ana Luisa Colón

February 4, 1923 - January 13, 2018

It is with profound sadness that the family of Ana Luisa Colón (León) shares news of her death on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the age of 94 years. She was born in Cayey, Puerto Rico where she met and wed her beloved husband Juan, who preceded her in death by 24 years. She will be painfully missed by her daughter Gladys and son-in-law, Richard Green, her nephew Joe León (and his wife Maria and their family), and her grandchildren Derek (and wife Maggie), David (and wife Kim), Brian, and Dennis Green, as well as her great-grandchildren Ashli, Amanda, Ana Luisa (her namesake), Jack, and Ben Green. The family also wishes to offer deep thanks to The Jackson County Medical Care Facility, especially the care partners on the Evergreen Meadows neighborhood, for their caring hands and hearts. The Mass of Christian burial will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church Friday January 19, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. with Father Timothy MacDonald officiating. Entombment Roseland Cemetery. Visitation at the church Friday 10:00 A.M. until service time. In lieu of flowers and for those who so desire please make any memorial donations in memory of Ana Luisa to the Activities Department of Jackson County Medical Care Facility.
