Alice became a native of Jackson, Michigan at a young age. She accepted the Lord early in life and was a long-time member of Noah's Ark Apostolic Church. She attended Jackson High School and later started a career in cosmetology where she served 30 years. She also furthered her education in health care as a C.N.A. where she served 10+ years. After retirement she started her own business as a self-proclaimed decorator and event planner. She was the decorator of all decorators. She was an outstanding cook and loved to go fishing. She cherished her family and loved her grandchildren. Alice was a woman of great faith and strength. She loved the Lord, Jesus Christ.
Alice was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Robinson; grandson, Bradford Brown; great-great grandson, Sekani Collie, and brother, Willie Brown, Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory siblings. Willie L. (Bishop Oscar P.) Walters, Ruby (Michael) Duncan, Helen Boxley, Pastor Arthur (Jackie) Brown, Pastor Robert (Terri) Brown, Bishop Michael (Pamela) Brown, Mary Brown, and special sister, Rozetta Brown; her son, Pastor James A. (Yvonne) Brown, her daughters, Tina (Bennie) Stewart, Sherry Westbrook, Cindy Robinson (James Hall), and Regina (Steven) Mays; 23 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends; special friend, Mary Lay and two special cousins, Diane Howard and Betty Delph.
A Homegoing Service will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024 at the Greater Bible Way Temple (322 Madison St., Jackson, MI 49202) at 11:00 am with Family Hour at the church from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Alice will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with cemetery expenses.
