Of Jackson, passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at the age of 88. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Betty Gudowski in 2018; also his parents and three sons, Michael, Rodney, and Mark Gudowski. He is survived by his daughter, Liz (Mike) Barton; five granddaughters, Genny (Rico) Poole, Gina Gudowski, Corissa Barton, Alicia (Jeremy) Curtis, and Kelly (Kendall) Kobel; six great grandchildren, Keegan, Brady, Oliver, Oscar, Rodney, Elizabeth, and Grayson; as well as nieces, nephews, loving family members, and friends. Al was born in Jackson, Michigan on April 30, 1931 to Jacob and Elizabeth (Pawlik) Gudowski. He was a hardworking man and provided for his family by selling cars in the Jackson area for 40 plus years. He knew many people and was a proud man. According to his wishes, cremation has been selected and he will be laid to rest next to his wife at St. John's Cemetery.
