Marilyn Crowe Scoggins

Marilyn Elizabeth Crowe Scoggins, age 91, died May 20, 2015 at her home in Leroy, AL. Mrs. Scoggins was born in Lawley, AL on July 12, 1923 and has been a resident of Leroy, AL since 1959. She was a retired teacher from the Clarke and Washington County School Systems. Mrs. Scoggins was preceded in death by her husband, Fred M. Scoggins, her parents, Joseph Blakey and Buna Moore Crowe; two brothers, Joseph Crowe and James Crowe and sister, Adele Crowe Reed. She is survived by her Daughters: Betty Seale Barlow (Dan) of Grove Hill, AL and Freida Scoggins Baker (Tom) of Montgomery,AL Son: Fred Joseph Scoggins (Cindy Foster) of Wagarville, AL, 6 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. Services will be Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Lathan Funeral Home, Jackson. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Service at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Steve Foster officiating.
