Jessie Eugenia Wimberly, age 78, of Jackson, AL passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2016. She was born on May 8, 1937 to William Milton James and Mary Margaret Odom. Mrs. Wimberly worked as a seamstress at Vanity Fair. She was a member of Rockville Baptist Church. She was a loving, caring mother to all. Preceding her in death were her parents, an infant daughter, sons, Thomas Earl Wimberly and William Albert Wimberly, Sr. and a sister, Shirley Louise James. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Earl Wimberly of Jackson; son, Bobby Joe Wimberly of Jackson; sister, Margarette A. Smith of Jackson; four grandchildren, William A. Wimberly, Jr., Rosa Roberts, Heather C. Wimberly and Victoria Conerly; eight great-grandchildren, John William Wimberly, Ethan Shaner, Sidney Roberts, Caten Roberts, Ashton Roberts, Andy Conerly, Bay Bay Conerly and Billie Conerly; special friend/daughter, Renee Reed. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 5, 2016 at 2PM at Rockville Baptist Church with Bro. Mark Dunn officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Wimberly Cemetery in Carlton. Active pallbearers will be Scott Solis, Brian Grantham, Daniel Dimas, Jason Gunter, Hiram Gunter and John Gunn, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Solis, Tommy Hart, Terry Reed and Earnest Gunter.
