Audrey Glenn Guy

Mr. Audrey Glenn “Buddy” Guy,75, a resident of Jackson, AL passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2015. Mr. Guy was born on March 7, 1939 to the late Clarence Alfus Guy and Sudie Bertha Stokely. He was retired from Boise Cascade as an Operator. One of his favorite things to do was fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Ruby McIntyre and Irma Jean Kelly. He is survived by his wife, Lois Guy of Jackson, AL; six children: Tim (Susan) Guy of Jackson, AL, Sharon (Joey) Hare of Bashi, AL, Karen (Dwain) Baxter of Millry, AL; Tammy (Jonny) Howard of Tibbie, AL, Brandon (Laura) Guy of Gonzales, LA and Chad (April) Guy of Donaldsonville, LA; sister, Barbara Ann (Jimmy) Brewer of Jackson, AL; brother, Gerald (Mary Emma) Guy of Leroy, AL; sister-in-law, Dorothy Jean McHaney of Thomasville, AL; thirteen grandchildren: Candice (Travis) Powell, Lindsey Hare, Brett Hare, Tiffany (Austin) Monk, Jessica (Gage) Luker, Dylan Baxter, Kyle Baxter, Chandon Guy, Chase Guy, Emma Claire Guy, Carson Ross Guy, Cambrey Guy and Kalyn Landry; two great-grandchildren, Cain Richardson and Rayleigh Powell. Active pallbearers are Joey Hare, Dwain Baxter, Jonny Howard, Brett Hare , Heath Guy,, Kyle Baxter, Dylan Baxter and Robert Allen McDonald. Honorary pallbearers are Jason Harvell and Hometown Hospice. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Lathan Funeral Home, Jackson from beginning at 9:30am until the 11:00am service time with Bro. Benny Harrison officiating.
