Samuel Leslie Reynolds

IRMO - A memorial service for Samuel Leslie Reynolds, 76, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 8, 2023 at Gateway Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

Mr. Reynolds passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2023. Born and raised in Columbia, SC, he was a son of the late Wade Henry Reynolds and Leslie Chaplin Reynolds. A graduate of Irmo High School, he was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard. Samuel was an entrepreneur who started several businesses. He was the owner of Wade Reynolds Motors, SLR Service Company, and Hot Dog Heaven. He was a member of Gateway Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon.

Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Norma White Reynolds; brother, Barry Reynolds; sister, Nancy Chaplin Reynolds; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Samuel Wade Reynolds and brother, Wade Roddy Reynolds.

The family gives special thanks to Agape Hospice for their assistance with Sam’s care.
