So sorry for y’all’s loss. Prayers for the coming days.

Sorry to lose my brother Roy. He was a gracious person to all and would help you if he could. He and Sandra worked hard to build Cimarron trucking co., but they also played hard.  They had so many friends  and cared about so many people.  He did like to cook for you. As we all know he could fix you a fine breakfast. When he would come to the condo in Charleston he would call me on sat. Nite and tell George ( my spouse) and I come sun. Morning as he was cooking. Always delicious.  I will miss those for sure.  He gave me the keys to a brand new red convertible when he was called to duty. He said “drive it”..  I did with my infant daughter in her car seat. We only had one car back then , so I welcomed the fact I had a car for a while. When we were all younger we had so many family get-to-gathers at our mother’s and step- fathers home. We didn’t have a lot of illnesses going on at that time. This illness has been so difficult for the whole family. And him if he realized it. Who knows. He stayed home with his beautiful family as long as he could. We must find a cure for this horrible disease. We all did for him to make things better but it finally took its tole along with sun damage everywhere. May he rest in peace. he will be missed my everyone. May his memory be eternal. Gina and Candice, Roy and I shared a birthday, April 14th - though I am  2 years older. We also shared the love of Toler’s Cove and a friendship with Aaaron.I couldn’t have had a better neighbor or friend. Together we totally removed a huge shrub that was blocking our view. If he could have, I think my dad would have adopted Roy as his son because dad liked nothing better than to spend an afternoon with Roy up at the Lake House drinking a few beers I’m sure…and a trip my dad always talked about through the years was a trip out west when Roy was kind enough to allow dad to ride shotgun with him on one of his truck runs. Dad enjoyed his times with Roy so very much! And I especially remember Roy taking the time to come over to our house in Columbia the night before I was to leave for Marine Corp boot camp at Paris Island and offering me words of support. I was really nervous and downright scared, and his pep talk convinced me that I was tough enough to make it. (Years later my dad told me that as he walked Roy out to his car, Roy turned to him and told him it was going to be a thousand times worse than what he told me…and it was!!) Thanks Roy for fudging the truth a bit.
Peace and Love to a wonderful cousin and friend and to his family.

We had many fun times together, especially on some of the “fast boat” trips up and down the intercostal water way.  He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed by all.  My deepest condolences to his family.

So many memories-Roy began “trucking” with our dad, L.R. Morris of L.R. Morris Produce Exchange. Roy was fascinated by the big trucks and dad letting him sit in his lap for a spin. That was what inspired Roy to later begin his own trucking business, Cimarron in Ballentine SC. Roy and our family grew up at Shandon Baptist Church on Woodrow where he was active in RA’s, Boy Scouts, Sword Drills, and many other church activities. He loved his family, Myrtle Lee, Joyce, and Dianne. He was our “rock” after our dad passed in 1952. We are so grateful for all the fun times. Thanks for the memories ♥️
