Memorial Service for Rose Marie Clark Richardson will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo, by the Reverend Brett Collins. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers or food, the family requests memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Lutheran Hospice.
Mrs. Richardson passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2015. Born January 20, 1933 in Richland County, she was a daughter of the late Henry O. and Birdie N. Clark. She was married for 49 years to the late Charles Knowlton Richardson. Mrs. Richardson was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday School. She was a homemaker and volunteer for Lexington Medical Center for many years.
Surviving are her daughters, Charlotte Dailey (Hoyt) and Renee Lindler (J Lee) of Chapin; son, Timothy Richardson (Erica) of Irmo; grandsons, Shannon Dailey (Leslie), Jeremy Lindler (Jessica) and Timothy Richardson, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Shayna Slicer (Will), Keaton and Knowlton Lindler; sisters, Georgie Bailey of Lexington, Del Hammond of West Columbia, Cherry Ann Lorick of Chapin; brothers, Dewey Clark and Henry Clark Jr. of Chapin and Kenneth V. Clark of Irmo. She was predeceased by her sisters, Dorothy Black and Janie Meetze and brothers, Lewis, Bobby and Ray.
