Mary Bickley Erskine

IRMO – A graveside service for Mary Bickley Erskine, 80, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2023 in Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery, 1321 Salem Church Rd, Irmo, SC 29063. Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, is assisting the family.

Mrs. Erskine passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023. Born in Ballentine, SC, she was a daughter of the late Harper E. Bickley and Naomi Bouknight Bickley. She worked for South Carolina Highway Department as a Key Punch Operator until she retired after 35 years of service. Mary volunteered at Sharing God’s Love and was a member of Salem United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband, H.B. Erskine of Irmo, SC; sister, Maureen Cockrell (Alton) of Batesburg, SC; brother, Elbert Bickley (Miriam) of Kentucky; three nephews; four great nephews; and one great niece.
