Born in Sumter, she was the daughter of the late Willard McDaniel Parker and the late Juanita Anderson Parker. Marilyn was a devoted Baptist and enjoyed teaching love and the gospel to her grandkids. She enjoyed baking and decorating beautiful cakes/sweets for family and friends. Superbowl was a big tradition for her that her brother Don Parker started, no-one was allowed to miss this holiday. She would make too much food and buy out a whole squares board. Marilyn really enjoyed cruises with her family. She was always a call away for anyone who needed her no matter the circumstance. She could always be seen talking to random strangers for hours on end. She taught her family to love everyone, and to always be there for anyone who needed it.
She will be remembered as a very devoted and loving wife, mother, Crae Crae, sister and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
