Marian Brown West

Born in Greer, SC, she was the daughter of the late Curtis Ora Brown and Vivian Mercer Brown. She was a devoted wife of 37 years to O’Bryan Stephens West until his passing; loving mother to Marlene J. West of Columbia, Steve K. West and his wife, Sandi of Cayce; O’Bryan Stephens West Jr.; and beloved grandmother to Evelyn Hall West of Matsuyama, Japan. She was preceded in death by her husband and infant son. Dear sister to Morris Brown and the late Hugh Brown. Marian was a member of Ashland UMC.

The earth will dearly miss such a kind, generous, loving, and sweet individual which cannot be expressed within the words of an obituary.

The family would like to thank the staff at Generations of Irmo for their kindness, generosity, and support over the years as well as Three Oaks Hospice for their recent care and support.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, October 25, 2024 at Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery, Holly Hill, SC.
