Lavinia S Davis

Born on November 21, 1942 in Columbia, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Reverend E. E. Smith and the late Marguerite Davis Smith. She retired from Anchor Continental and was a long-time member of Bethel Baptist Church in Prosperity, S.C.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, L/COL USAF RET Ted A. Davis; son, Jeffery Paschal (Jana) of Pomaria; daughters, Angelia Taylor (Eddie) of Prosperity, Michelle Capps of Myrtle Beach and Kristine Hooker (Brett) of Chapin; grandchildren, Tim Paschal, Steven Paschal, Justin Moates, Montana Holloway, Haley Kathryn Capps and Emily Capps; great-grandchildren, Tyler Paschal and Abby Paschal; her brothers, Edgar E. Smith, Jr. and James Smith (Barbara), nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Timothy Earl Paschal, a granddaughter, Victoria Rose Moates and a sister, Joyce S. Stradley.

Graveside services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2021 in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Prosperity, S.C. by the Reverend Michael Townsend. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside. Due to Covid-19 concerns, there will be no receiving friends at the home. Friends and family are invited to come by the Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo to pay their respects and sign the guest register.
