Laura Ashley Monts

A Celebration of the life of Laura Ashley Monts, 29, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo. The family will continue the celebration following the service at the funeral home.

Ashley passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018. Born in Lexington, Ashley was a daughter of James Allen Monts and Jeri Baskins Monts. Ashley was a 2007 graduate of Lexington High School and worked beside her father at Pro-Tow Towing as manager. Her greatest accomplishment and joy were her children.

Surviving in addition to her parents, Allen and Jeri, are her children, Cole, Jacob and Zoey; sisters, Jennifer Hite, Jaime Monts; niece, Kaylee Patterson; maternal grandmother, Joy Avery (Neil); paternal grandmother, Joyce Britt (Dick); and great-grandmother, Eula Lowman. She is also survived by numerous friends and extended family. Ashley was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Jerry Baskins and paternal grandfather, Bobby Monts.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be donated in her memory, to the Cole, Jacob and Zoey Trust Fund, c/o First Citizens Bank, 728 West Main Street, Lexington, SC 29072.
