COLUMBIA - A memorial service for Kimberly Anne “Kim” Cooper, 36, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Grace Point Church, 411 Western Lane, Irmo, SC. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
Kim died Thursday, November 14, 2019. Born in West Columbia, SC, she was a daughter of Bob and Ruthie Cooper. A 2001 graduate of Irmo High School, she graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2005, and received her MBA from Charleston Southern University in 2017. A former resident of Charleston, she worked in banking and public middle schools in Charleston. She attended St. Thomas Church in Charleston. Kim loved to volunteer with non-profit organizations.
Surviving are her parents, Bob and Ruthie of Columbia, SC and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Samaritan’s Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607, or a charity of one’s choice.
