Kenneth Johnson

Kenneth was a veteran of the United States Army, a graduate of the University of South Carolina, and later dedicated 31 years as an auditor for the South Carolina Department of Agriculture before retiring. He found joy in traveling the world with his wife Linda, spending time with family, appreciating nature, sharing stories, and enjoying quiet cigarette breaks.

He was preceded in death by his wife Linda M. Johnson. He is survived by his daughters, Joye J. Horne (Jay) and Gaye J. Leonard; grandchildren, Andy Horne (Kayla), Sidney Shelton (Ryan), Libby Cannon (James), Krista Fulke (Hunter), and Nathan Leonard; and great grandchildren, Reid and Arden Horne.

A graveside service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Columbia at noon on Friday, March 28th.

Kenneth's memory will be cherished by all those who knew him. Donations can be given to Brookdale Senior Living and Lighthouse Hospice Group, who the family would like to thank for all their love, support and dedication in Kenneth's final journey home.
