Joshua Evans Murray

IRMO - A memorial service for Joshua Evans Murray, 36, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Murray died Sunday, January 16, 2022. Born in Orangeburg, SC, he was a son of Darryll Murray and Tina Chrisley Murray. He attended Chapin High School and worked in construction. Joshua loved to go camping, fishing, The Gamecocks, and watching NASCAR.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Amy Murray; his children, Zoey Murray and Mason; brother, Joe Murray (Lyndsay); stepmother, Teresa Ammons; maternal grandmother, Ernestine Chrisley; aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Johnnie K. Chrisley Jr. and his paternal grandparents, Evans Murray Sr. and Verda Mae Murray.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a fund for his daughter Zoey Murray, First Community Bank, 1030 Lake Murray Blvd, Irmo, SC 29063.
