Born October 20, 1961, he was adopted by John Harvery Richardson and Patricia Suber Richardson. Mike attended and graduated from Columbia High School, class of 1979, where he was a member of the Key Club and was also listed in Who’s Who Among American High School Students 1978-1979. Mike had a great passion for the music industry and developed a love for electric guitars. He taught himself to play the instrument and learned how to especially build and modify them. Mike even operated a guitar repair business for a time to show his talents. His interests were in trains, the beach with friends, naval history and a special love for animals. He was known to spoil his family dog(s) as well as his friends' pets too. He adored “Lord of the Rings” and reread it faithfully every year. Mike was an extremely intelligent man and had a witty and sarcastic way that was very funny. Mike truly loved his extended family and was very proud of them.
In addition to his parents, Mike was predeceased by his brother, Franklyn Kent Richardson. He leaves behind numerous extended family members, loving cousins, an aunt, Francine Smith (Phil), a niece, Amber Richardson and many loyal and loving friends, who will dearly miss him. His family loved him very much throughout his life and now he will meet with them once again. May he Rest In Peace.
