A memorial service for Erin Alice Nelson, 36, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
Ms. Nelson passed away Monday, August 9, 2021 due to complications of COVID-19. Born in Rochester, MI, she was the daughter of Carter and Beth Richards Wallace. She was employed with the S. C. Department of Corrections.
A beloved daughter and mother, she is survived by her parents of Boiling Springs; son, Sheldon and his father, Sidney, both of Irmo; grandfather, Stanley Richards of Beaufort; Sheldon’s paternal grandmother, Miriam Fair and her husband, Isaiah Felder Jr.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her grandmother, Esther Richards.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a local animal shelter or a charity of one’s choice.
