I worked with Erin At homestead hospice. She was always smiling and had a great energy about her. She was always kind and willing to help out with what ever you needed. She will be missed dearly. I will miss her smile and bubbly personality.  All my love Debbie Dyson

I feel blessed to be Erin Clark's daughter. I get to gain her stubbornness and care, and I plan on carrying those attributes she gave Me throughout my life. I want to thank her for sacrificing so much time of her life while battling cancer to raise me and teach me vital life lessons. I can't ever thank her enough because I know no other mother could have done what she did, she fought. She fought HARD. Even in her last moments, she was stubbornly refusing to let us see her suffer, protecting us from seeing her anguish. That takes so much courage. I'm so happy she brought me out into the world. I wouldn't be who I am today without her. Love you mama. ❤️

Erin and I shared so many qualities—our stubbornness and rough edges—but above all, we shared an immense love for the girls and each other. Through every high and low, we made it work. I’m so grateful that I was part of their lives and hers. 

We shared many wonderful times, often centered around food. Erin always asked me to cook her something Puerto Rican 🇵🇷—it didn’t matter what it was; she loved it all. Pasteles was her fave. She picked up Spanish so quickly, and she spoke it too. No matter how much pain she was in, she always wore a smile. I never once heard her complain; she never wanted pity. 

"I believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible." I believe in the afterlife in heaven, and I believe you've heard every word I’ve spoken to you these past few days. I miss you, and I wish I could have done more.

To my Twinnie. We shared birth dates and through our friendship we realized we shared other stuff too.  I met Erin through our work and I was so proud of her when I recommended her for a job in hospice and she was so effective in helping others.  She especially loved working with veterans. She was a smart lady.  Fiesty yes but also very soft-hearted and loved her daughters & that cute little guy - her grandson who caller her Sugar.   Through her journey of living with cancer, she taught us all so much to live with passion and to never lose hope.  I for one miss her already but I know she has left behind some wonderful memories that we can hold on to.  RIP Erin.

Erin I only knew you a short time but to know you was to love you my friend! You were a fighter and when you found out I had lost my son 3 years before you were comforting me. You have a special place in my heart as you do now in heaven. I will forever remember you and your love for everyone  even in your darkest hours. Heaven has a gained a special Angel!

It’s been many years since I spoke to Erin but she was one of the few people from my past that will always have a special place in my heart. She was my very friendly, outspoken Northern friend but I remember it felt like I had known her my whole life when we first met.  She was one of my best friends.  Those were the days of flannels, combat boots and hanging out at the ditch. Erin, you meant so much to so many people and we will all miss you so much. We lost touch over the years but you were and will forever be in my heart with so many warm memories of your sweet smile. Rest in Peace Erin.

Erin was definitely a fighter. She did not go down easily. She fought just as hard for her hospice patients as she did for herself. She will definitely not be forgotten.

I remember wanting a daughter so bad that the day she was born I had tears in my eyes when they said I had a daughter. Back then it was a total surprise as to the sex of your unborn child. Erin came into the world nineteen days early and was the only girl born in the hospital on Friday the thirteenth. That should have been a warning that she was going to be a force to reckon with. I recall her second-grade teacher told me that she was bossy and I said “no she is assertive”. You could say she had confidence. At the age of two, she was in a shopping cart in line at the grocery store, she said “Hi man” to a complete stranger behind us. There she was at two trying to hook her mom up. She never met a stranger.
We knew as early as three years old that Erin did not want to miss out on anything. At a very young age, if you said we were getting ready for a party; she would be right by my side helping out. She loved parties and celebrations throughout her whole life. 
Erin loved men in uniform, particularly servicemen. She advocated for veterans in her hospice career. She loved hearing the stories veterans would tell. She was chronicling many of those stories so that they would live on.
Erin knew what she wanted and went after it. Erin lived her life to the fullest. She enjoyed the company of friends and family.
Erin gave me three wonderful granddaughters that are becoming amazing women and an awesome great-grandson. Thank you, my sweet daughter, for bringing these children into our life. They will always be a reminder of you. You will never be forgotten.

I’m not sure if I’ll ever find all the words to describe Erin Clark. She had an incredible talent with words and a very deep wisdom, that seemed to hit places in your soul and often took days to marinate. So, my words will fall short compared to hers. But in times of grief, words are often not enough. We met when I was in middle school and she was there for me during a very, very dark time in my life. I have often given her credit for me still being here on this earth and was able to share that with her a few years ago. She truly had an impact on so many people through her work in the medical field and to everyone she met . Over the last few years we stayed in contact through Facebook and I always loved seeing her posts about her family. She loved her family with a bold fierceness and would move heaven and earth to see them happy. Erin, you were loved and will be missed by so many. ❤️
