I loved Beth!  She was the first friend I made in the 5:30 am spin class.  She was friendly and fun!  Beth was one of the most incredible human beings I have ever known and her love for life was infectious! I will cherish the  wonderful memories I have of my friend. How very lucky I am to have known Beth.  ❤️

Dan and I are so sorry for your loss. Beth was such a lovely and vivacious woman and it is hard to imagine that she is gone.
 I remember when your family bought and moved into our house on South Pearl Street in Macomb.
 I remember the baby showers and other social events and how gracious and full of fun Beth always was.

Scott and family, it's taken a month for me to condense my fave Beth stories like when she asked me to show pet snakes to her Kindergartners! What a day. Or when Union Church needed curtains and pillows for Epworth Children's home, she sewed them in no time! And when she helped paint houses during local missions or serve pancakes, she just made everything more fun. And when our kids started dating each other, oh my, we shared soooo many chats when John was planning to "pop the question." And Beth was the one who decided we should High Five each other and walk down the aisle arm in arm as we left the church at their wedding.  So many fun moments with Beth just make me smile. We loved her and miss her. She just lit up a room! So right now I will go have a famous Beth dance in the kitchen in her honor! Love, love, love y'all.

I met Beth during my first year of graduate school, and through my research and practicum work, I would see her often at Irmo Elementary School. She always asked about how I was doing and offered encouragement. She was excited that my wife was a kindergarten teacher. Beth was a ray of sunshine that would brighten everyone's day. Our hearts and prayers are with the Scott family. 

Beth was a true friend I could count on in good, bad and of course fun times.  We taught together so long that we looked alike and parents of our school children thought we were sisters.  
We were sisters at heart. Beth made us all better teachers, trying to keep up with her unending energy and work ethic. She did more before school started than we did all day! Beth was an excellent teacher who to this day I still can't figure out how her children were so good. Her students were quiet and on task everytime I went in her classroom. She gave her students and her own children the responsibility for their choices and actions with good and bad consequences to follow. You knew the rules in Beth's class.

 Beth loved to laugh. I can still hear her laughing as we played jokes on the staff, Amos and the rubber rat always a target. Beth and I went to Orlando to make a presentation with Jim Shirley one year. After our presentation Beth and I snuck out for Disney and had so much fun acting like kids and we clutched hands and screamed on the scary rides. She played hard!

Beth was generous, compassionate, and always ready to help other people. She will be missed by all who love her and will be in our hearts forever.

We met Beth at the gym, worked out with her for a few  years and laughed with her everyday! She was a true joy to be around. We will always remember the happy times and laughs and smiles. We send our condolences to all her family and friends.

Beth was a tennis friend. She was a lovely and positive person who cared about others.

I had the pleasure of meeting Beth through the tennis community. She was always happy, smiling and spreading her joy to anyone around her! Many thoughts and prayers to Scott, her children and all of her friends and family. 

I met Beth at the gym. We had a great group of 5:30am regulars and Beth was a big part of that group. We could always count on Beth for a great laugh. She was a wonderful friend and I am so sad to hear of her passing.  We heard many stories about Scott, their children, and their dogs. Many prayers for her family.  Beth will be missed by many. 

I am sorry to hear of your loss.  I have heard so many wonderful stories about Beth from so many in our community, I feel as though her kindness will forever live there.

Beth will always share a special place in my heart. I learned so much from her about being a teacher and a friend. She  was always a ray of sunshine...and that laugh was infectious! Beth loved so many and in return was loved by so many more.  The impact she had on her students at Irmo Elem here in SC as well as the other states she called home will go on forever. Thank you Scott, Chris, Lauren, and Alex (and Maggie) for sharing your Beth with us. I will cherish the memories of this sweet friend always.  

Dear cousins all,
 We are sad to lose this special cousin,  Beth. Our childhood visits to Jasper spell memories of laughter,  hot summers, hikes, cook outs and playing in the much cooler basement.  Lots of fun poking at Ken and his next antic, laughing at Rob’s basement jokes,  Beth protected us Illinois girl cousins or helped us stay out of trouble. I remember meeting her husband, whom we fondly referred to as “Heebs”, and thinking he fit right in with our crazy Burger clan. Sadly we never got to meet the Huebner children as we lived in TN and now Zimbabwe.  We followed her teaching joy via Aunt Estella and cousins and heard tales of Burger reunions through our Dad, uncle Tommy (Ambrose Burger).  Hugs, tears, and enjoy memories as we remember laughter and  our cousin, Beth Ann.  Love, Kathy and Jon 

Beth was on our tennis team when we all just started playing tennis. Beth had the best laugh and we always love hearing it on the courts.  She was also a great player. I have such fun, cherished memories of Beth. My prayers go out to Scott and your precious family.

Beth was a wonderful lady and an exceptional teacher. I was so fortunate to have spent my teacher cadet year in her classroom. So much fun and excitement for learning! It was an important experience for me and I now have 13 years in my own classroom. I have her to thank for getting me started.
My sincere condolences to the family. I know she will be greatly missed. 

When I think about Beth two primary things come to mind.  First, is her excellence in teaching.  I had numerous opportunities to watch her teach first graders at Irmo Elementary.  To say that she was a natural is an understatement.  I know there are many individuals out there who can contribute their reading skills to Beth as well as their love for learning.  She instilled into them at an early age that learning can be fun.  I also know that her teaching skills went beyond the classroom as she taught my wife how to sew, which resulted in several Halloween costumes for my children. The second  thing that comes to my mind about Beth is her relationship with Scott.  She made Scott happy and kept him on his toes.  I know you know this Scott, but you are a lucky man to have spent so many wonderful years with her.  She will be missed. 

I’m her niece  and one of my favorite things about Aunt Beth was her laugh. I remember going to Jasper, Indiana to visit my Grandma (her Mom), and my Mom and Dad and my Uncles and grandparents always sitting around the kitchen table, telling stories and playing cards. Aunt Beth was always so vibrant. Seeing all of them together in that kitchen always brought a sense of comfort growing up, and Aunt Beth was never shy in speaking her mind. I will miss her so much! 

I am her brother Ray. 

When we were young I would call Beth “lizard” due to her full name Elizabeth.  She did not like that!

When we were in grade school she would come home and dress up as a nun and act like she was teaching me in class. I did not like that!

I will miss her infectious laugh. Her optimism towards life. 
And her baked goods!

I was her best and favorite (only) pupil when she dressed up in her nun’s habit that mom made for her (7 years old?), and schooled me at the chalk board in our basement.  She was a teacher from the get go!   We also rode stick horses a lot!  

Beth was a beautiful and wonderful friend and neighbor.  She was so kind and fun to be with.  She was my grandson’s first grade teacher at Irmo Elementary and truly gave all the children a special start at school.  We will miss her vivacious and funny personality.

Beth was a great neighbor and alot of fun. Her big smile and hearty laugher will be missed. Praying for Scott and the family. 

Mrs. Huebner had such a sweet soul and will surely be missed! She was loved by so many.
