COLUMBIA - Edward Agnew Holliman Jr., saint of God, went home to be with Christ on Sunday, June 12, 2022. He was the son of Edward Holliman Sr. and Annie Gene Holliman. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Bobby Holliman.
Mr. Holliman, "Ed" or "Eddie" to his family and friends, was 71. He leaves behind his wife of almost fifty years, Linda; two daughters, Jessica (Shane) McDaniel and Sara (Kyle) Guyton; a son, Matthew (JoDee) Holliman; and seven grandchildren, Gavin, Madison, Landon, Lucy, Kynlee, Korbyn, and Karter. He is also survived by two sisters, Geanie Paschal and Melissa Chambers.
He was a husband, a father, a Pop Pop, a friend, a Sunday School teacher, a member of Lake Murray Baptist Church for over thirty five years, a runner and a basketball player/fan. In addition, he was a man of quiet, unshakeable faith whose influence will be felt for generations. He retired from Carolina Eastman.
Visitation will be held at Lake Murray Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, with the celebration of life service following at 11:00 a.m. There will be a private graveside service for the family. Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
