Cheryl L Evans

COLUMBIA - Cheryl Lynne Evans, beloved daughter, was born September 12, 1956 to Louise S. Baughman and the late William F. Baughman, Sr. She joined her heavenly father and earthly father in heaven on Sunday, April 11, 2021.

A graduate from Irmo High School, she earned an Associate of Science degree at Cumberland College in Lebanon, TN. She served in the U.S. Navy in the U.S. and Puerto Rico as a photographer’s mate E-5. After discharge, she earned an Associate degree in Nursing and became a licensed Registered Nurse. Cheryl was blessed with many talents, especially as a professional seamstress, and with oil and cut glass paintings. She was a member of Shandon Baptist Church.

Survivors include her mother, Louise S. Baughman; sisters, Melanie McLees and Michelle Baughman; brother, William Frank Baughman, Jr; nieces, nephews, and aunts; and special family friend, Dot Strickland.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, April 18, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in Dutch Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. Masks are required.
